I have over the years made a custom folder or two for myself on my birthday. Its never been an every year thing but somehow things fell together to allow me on more than one b-day to do it and this past June 1st was one of those b-days.
This is the one I did for myself this year. I used textured green G10 for the grippy overscale. No whimpy lock cuts on this one. I used a set of .095 thickness ti slabs for it and set it up with nylatron washers and a nice set of stand offs in the rear for an open design. Weighs in at 3.5 ounces. Of course it sports one of my low rider clips that buries the knife in the pocket nicely. I used D2 steel in this one in my fave Wharncliffe shape. I will go ahead and stick one shot of it side by side with the orange ATS34 model I have for sale currently. Thanks for looking. Bit late getting this one posted here. Been tied up with other things.
