Last week, my cousin and an uncle of mine went camping for a few days in Tucson, AZ. My cousin brought along the WWII that I gave him. When I talked to him this weekend, he said that it came in handy for chopping up firewood. He wanted to cut down a tree with it, but my uncle told him not to (it would probably be against camp regulations). IMHO, wanting to chop down a tree is a definate sign that he really liked using his khukuri. They're planning another camping trip in December. If they can reschedule for the middle, I can join them and provide a firsthand report.
