This is my current collection:

Knives001.jpg

The two smaller knives are "Viper" ripoffs I bought from a martial-arts store; they are about 10" long and of decent quality. (440 stainless)

The two big ones are dead-cheap items from "Bud K". These were being billed as "The World's Largest Throwing Knives" at 14.95 the pair.....
I'd call whatever Chinese steel these are made of "almost stainless", as they will rust if left wet.
They actually throw pretty well.

The cleaver is one I inherited from my aunt. Had to grind off the hooked part of the grip. These throw a lot like tomahawks, and tear up your target just as badly!
My target is just 2 X 6 lumber screwed to backing strips; you can easily swap the boards around as the center ones get chewed up.

You need to wrap that cleaver handle with some black paracord!!!!!
That would look so cool!!

A good thought! That riveted handle will not last forever, if experience is any judge. The few blade-thowing knives I've owned all had riveted grips, and all came loose after a while.
