So today I got to put the BK9 through it's paces. I had some vines and a rogue tree that needed to be "cleaned up". The tree was about 15-18 feet tall and about 3-3.5 inches in diameter at the base. The vines were just a little overgrown so I trimmed them back. I have to say, I am VERY confident in the abilities of the BK9 after what I put it through today. I did bend the edge a couple of times but it was easily sharpened out on my field sharpener. I did a LOT of chopping. Besides it's general awesomeness , I think the thing I am most happy with is how easy it is to sharpen and how well it holds a working edge despite some pretty tough chopping. Anyway, I am a very satisfied BK9 owner. Now I finally know what all you beckerheads have been talking about this whole time. On with the pics!

The BK9 wasn't the perfect tool for all the jobs I used it for today but it sure was up to the task..
Thanks Beckerheads!
