Wow! That was my first word after I opened the box. My brand new, never used 3.5" non-flipper arrived yesterday. What a magnificent piece of craftsmanship. It's even better than I imagined; even with all the research and reading about the fit and finish I am still amazed and impressed. Looking forward to the 3.5" flipper with translucent green scale that is on the way. Hopefully will have that one by the end of next week (yeah, I bought two within a day of each other - I'm just a little impulsive:))

I think I'm going to get a set of the Blue anodized clip and filler to give it my own little touch. I'm a huge Florida Gator fan so I think the Orange scale and Blue clip will be a nice touch. What do you think?

Here's the one that came today. 3.5" flipper with green translucent scale. I really like both; really can't tell which I like more. The quest begins for one of each in the 3" size. Anyone need to get rid of one?:)

yea.. its like that with many newcomers.. they get one.. and realized that there are just so many other ones that need to be in the collection.

Love the Orange scale, post up your other XM when you get it.
 
I'm sorry to hear about your feelings toward the Florida Gators........go Big Blue (UK)! (okay, I know, but basketball season is right around the corner:))

Flip that clip around and you'll be all set! ;)

All joking aside......congrats on the nicest pocket knife you'll ever own!
 
Congrats on the purchase. I love my XM! Too bad the gators are going to be eaten by the Dawgs this weekend brother! Enjoy the new knife,she's a beast!!!
 
I'm a huge gator fan myself and think the blue mod would look sweet.

Too bad Cam Newton went and bought a stolen laptop and got himself caught...
...we might ranked #1 where Auburn is now.

let me know if you ever decide to sell it.
 
Thanks for all the good words. I had a feeling I would stir up some emotions when I mentioned the Gators!

I Love the idea. Wish I had thought of it before you. As it is, mine is of to PeterR for two custom scales...wait till you see what he is making for me!

Where are you in Fl (Naples XM-18 owner here)?
