My first balisong project - 20 pics

4 1/2" blade in diferentially heat treated 5160 - 5/32" thickness.
10" opened lenght. 5 7/8" closed.
Stainless steel stopping pins. Textured and fileworked bronze handles.

As always, 100% hand made with the tools you see on my workshop.

This is my first piece in the bali arena, I'm using it to learn about the construction and design.
Any kind of feedback is welcomed!

I'm sure that there will be quite a few fans of your balisong if you just do what you usually do with your knives to balisongs, including me.
 
Ruben, I have to say that I am extremely impressed with it! I love the shape of the blade...very utilitarian and not at all threatening. Keep up the great work! -Matt-
