from the knifemaker's wife- Eddie just showed me this thread before he went out to the shop. Those are just great shots of that blade! I really must have them for the site. Please, please!

We are very happy to know the knife is so loved and longed for. I am glad it worked out because Eddie never did buy me that deep freezer I need! ;)

thanks and please know that eddie backs his work for fit and finish for as long as he's around. if you ever need a touchup or professional sharpening, just give him a yell.

By all means feel free to use the Pics. Thanks to you and Eddie for making such a great product and being super knife folks. Keith aka chickenplucker:D

I am really glad you like your new blade! I sure do! I have my third knife commisioned with Eddie now. It will be quite the handsome knife, being for my Eagle Scout rank. I will be sure to post pics in time.......use the knife and show it some loving! :D

that's a very nice knife! eddie does beautiful work indeed.

eddie just finished a model ix drop point hunter for me :) it's my first custom and i think it came out beautifully. i will be putting up pics!

I just received model IX's from Eddie this week and am working out the details for another order. Fabulous knives for the price:thumbup:

Thats a nice looking little knife. I still can't figure out how guys fileowrk those rivets to make them match the grooves in the stag.

...Probably not files.....maybe dremel..?

Anyhow, it looks like a well made, handy knife.

I always hate it when someone says uses the phrase "for the price" like I did above:o

Take price out of it, Eddie's work is fabulous period.:)

wow! thanks guys for all the kind words...you all really blow me away. i won't go gettin' the big-head on ya tho....there's nothing to it.

now, i have been doing it for over 30 years, but i simply use my 2 1/2" X 48" flat grinder with a felt wheel on it.

mostly it is an easy thing to do, but i recently (yesterday) worked on the pins on a ramhorn that dipped lowdown right where the pin needed to be! it just took a little more time, determination, and patience for sure.

don't others do this too? a dremel would/could/should do it as well.
