I have been enjoying my Coal Creek Forge Hawks a lot. The only down side has been not having a cover for the scary sharp convex edge I have on them.
Today I took some scrap leather I had, some copper rivets and a little rawhide shoelace material. This is what I came up with.
It is not real pretty, but it does protect the edge from contacting things I don't want cut. The lanyard of rawhide through the sheath also gives a quick way to sling it over your shoulder.
All in all it has been a great learning lesson. My next one should be better.
Thanks for looking.
