Just got my first knife from KFU today...and it's about damn time!

Let me explain...I moved recently and after trouble altering my paypal account to show the new address, I contacted paypal and they said they would change it. Well I paypal Chris and wait. Now the day after USPS showed it was delivered to my house, Chris contacted me to check the in, but I had no package. So Chris tracked down the problem...it shipped to my old address...stupid paypal. At this point Chris tells me he will do what he can to get the package rerouted and if he can't he offered to make me new knife!!!! What!?! Paypal screwed up, I screwed up (by not confirming my new address like I always do), the one person that did nothing wrong was Chris, yet he went above and beyond. Chris you are a upstanding guy to say the least.

On to the knife (Chris was able to get the package returned to him and resent to me...crisis averted!). It's awesome! I own knives by Charles May and Ray Laconico, two makers regarded for excellent F&F, and my KFU knife is in the same category...it's flawless. It feels great in the hand and I can't wait to use it. Oh yeah, it is as sharp as any knife I have ever had! I will be going to camping in the Great North Woods of Wisconsin in about 5 days and will post some "knife-in-use" pics when I get back.

Thanks again to KFU for the great knife and great service.

Thanks Brett, I am glad you finally got it! Thanks fr the kind words but Im not in their league yet. I can't wait to see the pics!

KFU, don't sell yourself short brother . . . human nature makes it hard to accept compliments and gratitude . . your finished knives are way ahead of your "documented" time as a knife maker . . . craftsmanship has nothing to do with time, only with one's talents and their ability to put them into their work . . .
Good on you for the going the extra mile with the knife hunt as well buddy . . . .
Brett, we will definitely be looking for those shots when you get back, enjoy yourself, have a safe and restful trip . . . . .:)
Be safe.

Congrats Brett.
The first thing I noticed was how sharp my KFU nessie was & the second was the outstanding fit & finish.

B/G, Mykel, Bobo, you guys are now making it very hard for me to keep calm about my upcoming knives from Chris . . . . I have done very well keeping my emotions in check, and all I keep hearing is this scary sharp business, superb fit & finish, "it's flawless", "it's awesome" . . . . . .
Must relax, must breathe, close eyes, breathe, calm, thumbs to forefingers . . . . woosa . . . . woosa . . . . woosa . . . . . woosa . . . . hmmnnn . . . . . . ;)
Be safe.

Chris, if you care more about your customer than your profit, that puts you in premier league once and for all
