Just received my first SR, a Camp Tramp from Mike, aka miguet, on a fair deal. It travelled from Guam to DC, so that is about halfway around the world or so. the box arrived beat up and soggy. But the Tramp was none the worse for wear, it just laughed at the trip. So I pulled it out and looked at it for a while and thought, that is very nice. It looks like a small Battlemistress style blade. For those of you that don't know the BM is another big knife :p
So I looked at it and thought, man that handle design is so nice, it's got the perfect palm swell and design, very similar to my mission mpk, but more grippy which is better in wet stuff and if there were to ever be blood on my hands. hmmm, it is much more substantial than my basic 7, which is an awesome blade in itself and it is leaps and bounds beyond my CS recon scout in feel and balance.

Great going guys. I will be ordering part of the collection probably next week or the week after.:D

Oh, yah, well, well tell Jerry to start making some knives. Seems to me like he is more interested in drinking and having fun and making boar spears than he is making MY next BM, SH, NO ad SJ. I have been waiting a year and am almost broke buying other INFI because I cannot get the new series.

Battlerat is next, hehehehe come to papa

Cobalt,
Be sure and get yourself a Howler as well, you may never go back after one of those.:D :D

Ian.

What's the diff between that and the Bandicot. Looks like a wider blade, is that all?

The Howler has more belly, also without the PT and has the dropped point. OMHO It is about the perfect hunter/utility blade. The Bog Dog shows a lot of promise as well, if its as good as the Howler it will do me.

Also it has the added advantage of the thinner blade with a more grippy handle.
Ian.

Probably get the howler and the bog dog. I like toe looks of the bog dog.

Definately get the Howler, it's everything Ian says and a great kitchen knife to boot! I can't comment on the Bog Dog yet, haven't received it. It's on order though. Made a stew last night and used the HR for everything from the meat to the garlic. It smells a little, but that's ok. This little sucker does it all.

Oli, I will get the battlerat for sure, I had already planned to as I am a big knife fanatic. As for the BM, let me see, hmmm......NO:D
