Ok since Im not smart enough to post my own pictures I thought some of my forum friends would like to see one of my knives. Go to Bladegallery.com I have 3 that will soon be there. The dagger is there now with a couple others when Dan gets to them. Please dont take this as an advertisement, I just want to show my buddies.

I went and had a look and that's a super nice piece. I particularly like the leaf blade design and although I'm sure it's not intentional, it sorta has an antique look to it which is just my thing.
<p>
Here's that picture of Bruces knife...

Yes Chuck, It was at the oregon show and also in atlanta. It has some of that quality Chuck Bybee titanium in it. I heard you are not feeling well?

Mitch, It was intentional to make it an old design, glad You noticed. I dont think they used titanium liners back then.

Excuse while I go out to the shop and put todays project in the GIVAWAY pile....again!

Beautiful knife Bruce!

That knife is very nice. Are the bolsters the same as the blade? What is the handle made out of?
Joe

Peter, dont scrap that knife! Thanks

Joe, Yes the bolsters are also mosaic flower pattern. The handle is pre-ban elephant ivory. There is a close-up on the pattern at bladegallery.com It doesnt show up here very well.

Beautiful knife Bruce! I really like that antique style pattern. In a world of sleek and sterile products objects with classic styles really stand out.

Dang it Bruce....What am I going to do to try and even get close to that one...;)
That is one sweet looking knife, man some day I to will become a really cool knifemaker.....:D
Bruce

:) outstanding bruce i love the smatchet shape in a damuscus folder with the carved ivory'

Bruce -- that is one beautiful knife! The damascus is really super. That leaf-shaped blade isn't seen often, and it goes awful well with the flared butt of the handle. Nice carving too! I look forward to seeing the other 2 knives soon.

Thanks guys. Bruce E. Do you see that vine filework? I learned that from YOU! Your toutorals are the best. Im still the student here, I just got lucky on one. This was my first attempt at a folding double edge and elephant ivory with carving. I am proud of the steel. I forged for about 2 days. The billet got smaller and smaller as I kept trimming off the edges and ends. There is alot of waste when making mosaic damascus. It was suppose to be a 12" integrel art dagger.

Wow Bruce!!!!!!!! I can not imagine making something like that. Man that is one gorgeous knife in every way! It is a true art knife.

I've seen this knife in hand, and even though Bruce is one of my friends...I can say with all honesty it's just flat a gorgeous knife!

But didn't some whack job sharpen both sides of it for you Bruce?:p

I'm glad your work is finally being seen by these guys and on BladeGallery Bruce, you are much deserving!!!

Nick

Thanks Bruce B.,But I am still the studnt myself. And as long as There are guys out there like you that like to push yourself into new things it will always push us others to keep pushing ourselves and trying new things ourselves.
Again that is one OUTSTANDING Knife.
Bruce
