Well, its not that bad really. The tracking bolt stripped out so it doesn't apply an tension anymore. Im going to try and rig it tomorrow so I can grind out five knives until the parts get here next week. I was however able to grind the challenge knife before it went to crap. No worries, just a couple days of waiting if I can't fix it.

My first grinder did the same thing! It was a junky 4x36 so it is still sitting until I get around to fixing it.

Hell, I just don't want to get laughed out of the challenge! There are some great makers in it, and although I would like to see Laconicos knife, it will add something with him being a judge. I hope he doesn't compare fit and finish against his knives, his are soooooooooooooo clean.

Chris buddy, you or BA have nothing to worry about getting into this contest. Both of you guys can hold your own against any other maker on the forum, and here's the proof . . . . . . . . . if this were't true, there would not be the influx of "new" people looking at this forum, buying your wares, and the increase of people viewing this forum at all hours of the day and night. You guys will be ok, just do what you do any other day and your & BA's talents will take care of the rest . . . . . :thumbup:
