... is my new OD Izula.
This knife is so wicked. Sharp as hell from the factory, great QC btw, Jeff.
I got the whole kit and being a complete newbie to camping/survival, I poured over the contents. I really hope to go camping (for the first time) next summer and using the Izula. For right now, the Izula is tearing through cardboard, letters and produce like no one's business. A great EDC, for sure.
It's funny, I forgot to lubricate the blade and let it sit for a while. Tonight I pulled it out and saw some light brown spots on the edge. Being a knife nut, I freaked out. Then I remembered some of you fellow RAT packers say just use the damn knife and the rust will go away. I cut up some cardboard and voila!, rust disappeared. I still put some mineral oil on it before putting it back to sleep though.
After sitting down tonight, I find myself learning something very insightful. You know you're a knife nut when you look around for things to cut. I knew I should have kept some of that cardboard lying around.
