I just had to say what a great knife this is! It has such a great feel in the hand, like a scalpel or fine fountain pen. It would be at home in the hunting fields or in a tuxedo pocket. Now it is sinking in why so many forumites can't carry just one piece with them. I think I better buy some kind of vest, just to carry all the Spydercos I like. Thanks for tolerating a newbie.

You're right, the Jess Horn lightweight is very nice. It really feels comfortable in the hand, and mine opens silky smooth. The blade may not be the strongest (due to its wide false edge), but it's razor sharp and suitable as an everyday or gentleman's blade. Unfortunately, I don't carry mine as often as I should; I've got so many Spydercos, Benchmades, et. al., that some invariably get carried more than others. I feel as if my Horn, along with my other rarely carried knives, give me a >( "frown" when I carry my regulars!
