Ive been in a real bad mood.
Last thursday we got a call over the radio. Domestic disturbance. Another patrol answers. Minutes later, the radio-calls get worse. The guy has a knife and he has stabbed a woman. 4 cars are sent, including us. Me and my partner had the fleets fastest car that day, and make it first to the scene. We arrest the man without any drama, but it was too late. He sliced his ex-wifes throat, almost severing her head. The worst part, is that happened on the street, where several witnesses either heard her screams or viewed the incident. The headquarter had been flooded with calls. How many witnesses took action? None.
We got the call at 1016 AM. We had him cuffed at 1030, literally minutes after she died. Maybe if somebody had acted, we would have gotten there in time. Maybe not. The doctors said her windpipe/arteries had been severed, and she would have been unconscious in 2 seconds and dead within 60 seconds. Ill never know, but knowing nobody acted angers me immensely.
Next day im on the job again. My partner for the day has been sitting behind a desk for the past 10 years, but he has been called in to be on driving patrol that particular day.
We get a call. Domestic disturbance. A man has assualted his wife and has brandished a knife. I think to myself: Not again. We drive to the adress, where we find the suspect has fled the scene, as he heard our sirens. Witnesses point me in the direction and i run after him. I call my partner over the radio, to inform him of my position, but to no avail. My partner hasnt brought his handheld radio with him
Im fuming with anger, but continue after the suspect. No time to inform the dispatch, who then have to call my partner on his cell. I come running around a corner, and see the suspect standing about 6 meters from me. I see no knife in his hands, but as i order him to keep his hands up, he puts both hands in his pockets. Mind you, im about 300-400 meters from the scene and my partner isnt there to cover my back. The suspect eventually surrended under threat of shooting. A frisk showed he had no knife, he was just plain stupid. He had beaten his ex-wife up pretty badly and threatened his stepson with a kitchenknife.
My partners stupidity enraged me, and still does. It could have gone very wrong. Only good thing is, that he recognized his mistake. I still get mad when i think about it, though. Very mad.
And 2 days ago i find out that my girlfriend of 7 good years, betrayed my trust in one of the worst possible ways. :thumbdown:
And im to complete it all, im suffering from a runners knee, that just wont go away. Ive been fighting the inflammation for 6 months, and still no serious improvement. I cant run, squat, do burpees, ride a bicycle or row. All i can do is lift weights and swim. Its really frustrating me and not doing anything for my mood.
Anyway, enough bitching. You read this far. You need to be rewarded

This open for all BF paying members. All you need to do, is to tell me why you'd like this Juice. I'd prefer it if it went to somebody, who really wants it and who has a need for it. It might be somebody who otherwise couldnt afford it, or who wants to gift it to his son/daughter, etc. If you already have one or just need one for the collection, then give your spot to somebody else. Of course, i have no way to tell if youre being truthful, but thats the way it is.
