So since my knives never showed up I figured it was time to start rebuilding the collection. No place better to start than with my favorite company Schrade. I got another 8OT, my favorite pattern ever. Has a bit of blade play that I will fix up when I get home but nothing that will bother me now. It is almost brand new with just the sheepsfoot being used before. Other than that is is awesome. I put a killer edge on it, spliting hairs like its nothing.

Then there is the Craftsman. I have been fascinated with them since I found out that they were made by Schrade. This is an old 70's era 9470. I love the handle. It is like the old peachseed jigging, but in delrin. Carbon steel blades that are mirror polished still. It is getting used asap though. Shiney is nice, patina'd is way better.

Sorry for the bad pictures. Still using my cell phone. And more pictures of knives from some fellow forumites as soon as they arrive here. Ya'll will love em all.

P.S. I don't know if anyone knows why when I insert the pics using the
they don't show up for me, but any help on that would be appreciated.
 
Congrats... Good lookin knives. Gotta love the 8OT'S. I just scored an early S/W 881y. Can't wait for it to arrive, plus I have my eye on an early S/W 8OT :thumbup: They are great knives

A good start! A Schrade is always nice to have. And I've been trying to score an 8OT myself. So I'm a bit jealous of you guys.:)

Trust me dalee nothing to be jealous of. I've watched about 15 before this go bye for cheaper prices, just because I forgot what time they ended. Still kicking myself. And yes 338375, they are great knives. My favorites ever.

Your pictures need to be sized down a bit for the forum, but this one that I cut and pasted the link right out of the "Embed This Image" Forum line of your ImageShack album (I resized it too). If you look at the line above the picture, you can see the correct IMG Code, and I substituted the [] with () so it can be looked at. ImageShack actually puts in more than is necessary.

Your pics look pretty good for a camera too. Nothing wrong with your process.

Boy you sure can't go wrong picking up a Schrade. Good to see you rebuilding.

Sadly sunnyd my school doesn't get mail on the weekend. I'm super excited for Monday though!
