Guys.. don't believe this guy.. it was all him

- all I did was flatter Neil's ego to no end to make him see the TRUTH! That he has a natural gift to make any knife.. fixed and ofcourse folder. My design knowhow is severely lacking in the mechanical deprtment and I would love to chat with you in person as to the mindset you had when laying out and designign the parts, Dr. B. talking to folder makers - I have apprecaite what goes behind the scenes and under the scales of what makes a folder - work!
and this does work.. I wonder if this is REALLY your third (?) folder attempt cause it's damn good! The action is consistent, smooth, yet no wussy.. it offers solid CONSISTANT resistence (you have to hold it to see it) and no blade play. Thwacking it open doesnt seem to give me any bad vibes either.
I am carrying it in the pants by the kidney and it feels good thanks to the contours.. there are no sharp corners EXCEPT where it should be (the skullcrushers) the handles are soft to the tough and the grip is secure yet non abrasive and 'non fatiguing' if you know what I mean. THe countours and smoothing make all the difference..
I thnk you raised the bar TOO high on the proto Neil.. I noticed the engine turning/jewelling on the inner liner.. and notice the green anodizing of the skullcrushers, as well as the purple (?) anodizing of the countersunk holes and liner traction grooves.. AHAHAAHA!
I will look more into it but damn - this terrorist hunting tool is pretty full of surprises.. i wonder if you can fry an egg on it
I STILL think that the blade should be canted forward a bit for a pistol grip.. also that we shoul give more meat and grind to the skullcrushers for that lip puckering factor..

this wekeend we worked on punyo skullcrusher striks and I am reminded how important the technique is if you can pull it off!!
