Last Saturday, I visited Gene Osborn and his wife Pat at Center Cross Metalworks in Ft. Worth, Texas. I spent a couple of hours looking at Gene's knives and touring his shop. Gene and Pat are two really special people! I bought two knives from Gene. The first one is shown here:
3-1/4" Nickel Twist damascus Wharncliffe blade.
7-1/2" overall.
Brass guard.
Black & yellow expansion spacers.
Stag handle with stone and copper twisted wire inlay.
Hand-tooled leather slip sheath.

I borrowed this picture off of the Center Cross Web Site. The knife is even more beautiful than the picture!

Good choice Bob! Gene's work is very clean and exceptionally good quality and at extremely reasonable prices. Gene and Pat are really great folk, it has been my pleasure to be friends with them. Gene can make anything from a basic no frills user to highly embellished collector knives. I was amazed recently to find out that a few dealers told Gene they would only carry his knives if he put his name on them instead of the Centercross logo. IMO this is their loss, are you listening dealers? Here's one Gene made for me:

Check out his website at www.centercross.com, I think you'll like it.
