I bit the bullet and bought myself a Mora Clipper. I ordered from Ragweed Forge and had an incredible buying experience, which I've posted in the exchange forum:

I finally ordered myself a Mora from Ragweed Forge the other day and was greeted a short 2 days later with a package. That was quick! I tore the box open and pulled out my brand new, international orange, Mora Clipper... except it was blue, not orange.
I wrote Ragnar a quick e-mail letting him know that the order had been mixed up, expecting him to get back to me in a couple of days or so, have me ship it back, and then wait for the right one to arrive. Well, being a great business man and an awesome guy, he returned my e-mail that day to inform me that the correct knife would be put in the mail that afternoon and I could keep the first Clipper with his compliments! I know Moras aren't the highest-ticket items on the market but when you have a budget like mine, $13 is a lot of money and his gesture means a lot to me. I have never had a knife-buying experience like that and the world would be a better place if bigger companies worked a bit more like Ragweed Forge. I'm sure I've got more Moras to buy and they are all going to come from Ragweed.

Glowing endorsements aside, I love my Moras. In celebration of my new knives, I decided to prepare a beercan chicken and carve it up with my blue clipper. The things are pretty damn sharp right out of the box and I had no compulsion to mess with the edge. The handles are as comfortable as everyone has told me and they beg to be used. What the hell was I waiting for? I'm excited to take them out in the woods and mess around a bit and I'm glad I can give my Martiini a break for a while.
I was also a winner in a contest held by another gentleman and awesome guy, our own Marion Poff, who kindly offered up some Concealex for several knife models. One of those knives happens to be the Mora Clipper so I've even got a great custom sheath on the way too (thanks again, you rock). The orange Clipper will be clipped to my belt, right next to my PSK, with a matching orange whistle, firesteel, paracord, etc. Oh yeah, I'll be visible for miles. :D
The really great thing is that I can hone my handle making and carving skills by making a new handle for the second clipper. I'm thinking maybe a nice chunk of birch. I found a few examples of rehandled Moras and some of them are really excellent. Have any of you guys done it? I'll be sure to post plenty of pics when I find a nice piece of wood and get that project underway.
Anyway, I just had to share my excitement with you guys. It's been an awesome week.

Now that's some awesome customer service

It really is! I forgot to mention that I got the correct Clipper this afternoon, a mere four days after the order was originally received.

Yup, Ragnar rocks. And you're absolutely right about the Clipper handles. Just right for me. In fact, I have the All-Around, and my only beef with it is they made the handle different (more tacky) than the Clipper. Why mess with perfection?

Cool, I know where I am getting my next Mora from. I got a MIKI just the other day from a group buy.

Count me as another Mora Clipper and Ragweed Forge fan. Both worthy of praise.

I'm not suprised at all. Ragweed Forge is a great little knife outlet. Congrats on your purchase!

That my friend, is exactly why so many people recommend Ragnar at ragweed forge!!!

Instead of busting up your other Mora, might I suggest you go back to ragweed and buy a couple of blanks. You might as well get a couple seeing how shipping is $6 no matter how much you buy.

Here you go:
http://ragweedforge.com/BladeCatalog.html#f-blades

I believe the blade that is used in closest to the clipper is KBH-1(scroll down), and they are less than $9. The longer tang will be easier to work with and make a stronger final product, plus you don't have to destroy a perfectly good clipper.

If you are on a budget and just want to practice your handle making ability, just use some scrap oak for your handle material.

Here are a few that I've done:

Cool, I didn't even realize I could buy blanks from him. Looks like the wife has a new Mora Clipper too! :)

Say Heah Guys and Gals, Christ is Risen, (responce) He is Truly Risen. I bouggt my Stromeng Set from Ragweed Forge, Yes, Jim is a Gentleman with alot of knowledge because he use to forge knives at one time. I truly enjoy talking to him. But I recently got a gift, I got a Mora 510, a Mora Classic #1 (3.8+") and a Mora 2000 with the Hatchet Orange Combo. The person told me he got it from BladeHQ because they had the best price especially on the combo. I wasn't trying to be rude to check on how much the gifts cost, But, Yeah, B H does have very good prices. When I got my Strimeng, I tried ordering the Stromeng KS-9 Leuku and since I like to buy my knives in sets, a large knife with a small knife so they match, Doing bussiness across tge big pond is not that easy, since I will only pay with a check because I almost got ripped off with PayPal and E-Bay, they didn't want to do anything about it and lost a good customer. Anyhow one company refused doing business with a check, so I offered to take a chance and mail them cash, Heaven was gracious enough to do bussiness, I did text them via e-mail, on the third short question I stopped getting a reply, all I asked if the Stromeng Bhuku LiL STAK came in carbon too. And no reply, so that's how I found Jim at Ragweed. He's in New York and that was great for me. The price Jim quoted me was much less then what Heaven was selling two knives, I was able to buy the KS-5. So I got three knives for the price of two. I alway's wanted to own a Leuku, But for what I do in the bush and the type of wood in my area, to be brutally honest, I would pick my BK-9 or my go to Rodent 9 over the Leuku, I prolly don't know how to use a Leuku, especially chopping with a scandi grind, I guess it's alright, but I like the idea it's a Traditional Leuku and the set because the varying sizes makes for a nice set to camp with, But when we know alot of wood will be lrocessed, give me my O.K.C. Gen2 SP-53 hands down one of the best chopper for the money I own. But Yeah, as much as I enjoy Jim at Ragweed Forge, BLADEHQ has some awesome prices especially on the orange combo with the Mora 2000 and the Mora Hatchet (orange). The olive doesn't come in a combo so the price is more.
