A few months ago my dear bride told me to order another knife, my buddy and I visited Jack Jones in Ripley, MS and he had this one ready. I had to wait until my wife said I could buy it. I thought his lead time was six months, but it has grown a bit so I asked him to hold it for me. Here is my new blade. Loveless style drop point with antique ivory micarta scales, red liners, CPM-154 steel with 416 stainless guard and bolts. Paul Bos heat treated 59-61. He makes his own sheaths as well. I have a few of his and always happy with his work. I guess that is why I needed another one of his pieces.

Mr. Jones is a retired shop teacher who always wanted a Loveless but like me could not afford one. So he makes his own knives now. Jack was inspired by the same Gun Digest Book of Knives '73-'74 and the article about Bob Loveless.

Mr. Jones tells me he will be at the Blade Show this year. He does good work and I thought I would share. Now all I need is something to skin out.

Great Pics!
I really like this knife. I was with MTF3 when he first saw it and I knew he wanted it. I'm not sure how he was able to wait so long to get it, but somehow he made it.

I was able to visit with Mr. Jones and his wife again at Blade. They are some really nice people. Mr Jones makes a really nice knife. I think MTF3 told me that he sold seven knives at blade show. I can tell you first hand those seven people got a really good knife at a great price.
Also notice the sheath. He does a really good job on that as well.
