My new tool - ZT 0550

Since I just learned how to post pictures, I thought it might be a good idea to share a few pics of my new friend

Here along with another tool I use in the forest:


Getting ready for a hike:



The knife came SUPER sharp, perfect blade centering, sliky smooth opening/closing, no blade-play. Compared to my 3 Sebenzas I would say the fit and finish was just as good! :thumbup:
However, I find it a little too heavy for me for EDC, but I would not hesitate to bring it with me as a heavy duty blade in the forest or as a companion on hikes .

Thanks for sharing! If you find the 0550 too chunky for edc, consider getting the 0560.

The OP said the 0550 was to heavy to EDC. The 0550 and the 0560 weigh the same so he is not going to gain anything with a 0560.

I carry a 301 on duty and the weight gets lost with the other gear on the belt. For off duty I'm finding it a tad heavy so the 550 is usually it, along with a 350 some of the time.
