Some of you may have seen this as it was offered by a purveyor a lot of us are familiar with... But that won't stop me from sharing my latest purchase. :)

I was looking for something streamline for pocket wear, not too long, in bone or stag, and with at least a wharncliffe. Looks like I got that and more.

Ryuichi Kawamara Serpentine style Pen. I believe Ryuichi calls this his "Scratch" pattern?

These are pictures from the dealer as my camera sucks... What do you think?

Great looking knife. I know him and he is a great maker as well as a fine man. Good for you, you will like it.

Nice one !

It is so good to see a traditional pattern, but with a modern version of Wharncliffe blades, and a very clever way of fitting the blades......

and, very good stag scales, another traditional touch.

excellent workmanship.

I can share your enthusiasm. Yesterday I took delivery of a Kawamura Remington pattern Congress Jack with Stag scales. It is sublime ........ I have placed orders for 2 knives with him directly.

Congrats on you new purchase, great taste.
