Here is my newest. It presented one of the more aggrivating challenges I have done so far. This knife features:
8.5" OAL
5" 1084 Blade
Differential HT with etched rainbow hamon
Stabilized, dyed burl scales
1/4" Mosaic pin

This knife will be a keeper. The bolsters were a royal pain, as was the asymmetrical curve match that went about as well as expected for a first attempt. As you can see in a few pics, my wood to bolster match was a fraction off. A minor visual defect, but its there. For some reason I am in love with this little guy. It has a nice feeling heft and an extremely comfortable grip.

Visual defect????

Yeah, maybe... But damn, that's just drop-dead GORGEOUS. I'm extremely impressed, sir.

dang man, that's incredible. i can't believe that blemish, i mean like how can you be satisfied with that?? lol jk i wish my minor blemishes looked that good! great lookin knife, if i wasn't broke i might try to buy it from ya lol.

Wow guys, I really appreciate it!

As for the "defect", its there but does not detract from the piece much other than in my own head. I still have the option of trying to inlay copper into the wood/bolster seam, but I may leave that be and let this knife be what it is.

I enjoy trying new things, and have a lot of other ideas in my head that will be coming down the pike soon!

Impressive, super knife and what everybody else said. Love that rainbow hamon!

nice looking
and yes i know how something not 100% can be maddening
even if its like 99%
keep up the good work
