i just wanted to get on here today and kiss rat cutlery and rowens collective ass for making such awesome knives.i recently took a little walkabout in the woods here in deatsville, alabama and i carried my rc-4 out for the second time.the last time i carried it,i killed a huge rattler with it,but this time i really put it to work.i chopped a path through some thick low hanging branches, split some wood for a fire, cut up a rabbit that i killed, and cut some nylon rope that i found tied to a tree(somebody had come onto my property and put out a bait station for deer:mad:) and after all that, without any sharpening,it still managed to cut the shit outta me..i took a few pictures, though i dont know if ill be able to get them on here,my comp is a little wonky at the moment.i was sliding the knife back into my leather sharpshooter sheath with one hand, holding the sheath with my left hand:rolleyes:,and looking at something else(dumbass).it got me right in the crook of my index finger, barely missing the joint.hurt and bled like hell.luckily for me,i had some superglue and bandaids in my kit and i cleaned it with clean water, put some neosporin on it,and good as new.overall a great trip,my rat performed beyond all my expectations, and i got a boo boo.

/doh, im still waiting for it to arrive at my home. reading things like this gets me pumped! man i wanna get my hands on it :D

Mine should be here tomorrow, and I agree, reading all these posts like this has me all kinds of pumped as well. :) I am now trying to decide what to get next!

Is it me, or have there been a lot more postings recently about self-cuts?
