This is my second go at making a bit of damascus. It is 11 layers of circular and hand saw blades. As you can see it has a stag handle with red fibre and brass spacers. Blade is 3". Just given it to my Father, who was rather pleased!!
Unfortunatly my p*** poor photos don't really do the pattern any justice.
Thats my excuse anyway;)

Thank you for looking.

It's a darn good looking little knife, but it's a shame that it's so difficult to make out the pattern in the steel.

that sure is a beauty, the stag really flows nicely with the whole knife.
The pattern is kind of hard to make out, I'll say it was unfortunate

11 layer isn't going to look like much and the two steels are probably too similar for much contrast. But I do like the play the pattern gives along the quench line though. Very cool!

Thank you all for looking. Your comments are very much appreiciated.
Its not the most attractive damascus in the world I know, but at this stage I'm just happy for the weld to have taken hold!!
Once again, thanks for taking the time to comment.
Regards, Ian
