Native question

Hi- I'm new here - but a big Spyderco fan. I just bought a Spyderco Native at a gun/knife show yesterday. When I got home, on closer inspection - I noticed the blade said "Golden Colorado, USA" all of my other Spyderco's say "Japan". The blade is 44A steel and is etched "1st Generation BRK". Is this unusual/rare? What have I got??

I see them on Ebay all the time, and they seem to sell for less than the other varients.
