My Fiance still needed a knife since the demise of her ill fated Goddard lightweight.

I poked around the net, and let her borrow some of my other toys to see what fit her, and we came to the conclusion that it is difficult for her to carry average sized folders because they slide out of her pockets when she sits down. A smaller folder was in order if she was going to wear it clipped to her pocket.

When I showed her a pic of the Navigator she fell in love.

Too bad it is in my grubby paws till she gets back from her trip..hehehe..

It was a little rough opening for a little while, but it is breaking in pretty good. Lockup is light and the tolerences are really nice for such a little knife. My wish list for improvements is short..screws instead of pin/rivets tip up clip, and maybe some "niftier" steel, but the Gin-1 ain't bad stuff...and it is fine for anything my fiance will cut with it. I really like the metal spacer between the g-10 slabs..

This is a neat little knife. it is comfy, grippy, and cute. It fits perfectly clipped in the change pocket of my jeans. I am debating whether or not to tell her it got lost in the mail..

It is not a matter of whether or not you are paranoid, it is a matter of whether or not you are paranoid enough.

Yekim,
Now you've got me even more tempted to get this knife!! I've been tossing the idea around for awhile to get this for a money clip knife and now I think I will.
I personally really like GIN-1 steel, it has worked great on my Native (love that knife!!).
Anybody else have comments on the Navigator?
Thanks!!

YeK - We would still like to get your "il fated Goodard" back. (preferably include the original "soft" pin). We would be happy to replace it and give your GF here toy back. It will give us something to study and discuss with suppliers.

I was wondering if some wider clips could be made up to facilitate the series of Mini-knives's use as money clips?
