I carry a necker with me daily. I have a few that I switch out and I was wondering who else wears a neck knife and what do you wear. Pics and descriptions if you can but at least pics please.

Here's my edw rotation:

Left to right model and info.

All the sheaths are built by me except the S!K Necker, Micro Bleach, and Bark River

Survive!Knives Necker - M390 (#154)

Becker BK13 Remora - Nuff said (actually my sons knife but I gave it to him and built the sheath)

Micro Bleach by Craig Wheatley in Canada - CPM - S35VN - Dayglo G10

Esee Candiru - Stripped with Custom Blue and Black G10 scales (made by me)

Evans Knife and Tool "Dart" model by Brian Evans - CPM-20CV - Jade Ghost G10 with White Liners and Green Strontium Aluminate in the epoxy (Blank by Brian - Scales by me)

Spyderco ARK knife - All Stock (working on custom kydex for it now) - H1 steel

Bark River PSK - Orange G10 with black liners - Elmax steel

I have worn the Gnome and RSK Mk5 in this picture in the past around my neck:

Here's my current users in rotation.

1. ZT 560BK in a custom Eric Esmond Kydex sheath. It's a lot of knife for neck carry but it goes mostly with me when hiking/walking in sweats.

2. Calton neck knife by BF member. Cool knife that comes in under 2oz with sheath.

3. A Keith Willis necker from another BF knife maker. Another small knife under 2oz. made of Sassafras wood. Keith etched SemperFi on the blade for me.

The Mora 1 and 2/0 are my go to neck knives. So effortless to carry and always close at hand.
 
Great thread. Numbers 3,5, and 7 are nice small knives that I'm going to look into further and try a necker .I was thinking "hmmm can I neck carry the rodent solution on its way"? Then thought..no way!
Then I see Eyedog neck carrying the Zt!..bigtime... hmmm maybe I can...
 
250,000+ members and only a half dozen of us carry neck knives. Wow.
 
I carry the Spyderco Swick often on my kayak. It offers a secure and unobtrusive way to carry a knife on the water and provides easy access even when seated. I also love the finger hole which make the knife less likely to end up on the bottom of the ocean and allows me to use my fingers to tie knots or perform other quick tasks without setting the knife down. Great design!


 
Carry this kwaiken as a necker from time to time. Also Landi RSK, BK 11/14/24, AF necker, Nighthaxen No Frills, others I'm forgetting. Got a Skinner from Big Chris coming will also carry around the neck.

I wish they got the tapatalk photo upload issue resolved.... would be so much easier to contribute to these threads.

Well, I own several, but I just don't carry them. There's not much a necker can do that a folder can't, and the few things it can do are fixed blade things. And if I'm needing a fixed blade, I'll likely want something bigger than a necker so I'll carry something else. Throw in the fact that I dislike having anything on my neck, and well...they're just not for me, except as part of the collection. I have carried this one in the past(it makes a remarkably good package and letter opener), the Ka-bar TDI Last Ditch, which IIRC is AUS-8 steel:

Have never really been a fan of neck carry, BUT this little AG Russell hunters scalpel is awesome for it. Its so tiny and weighs barely anything so it just disappears on the neck, and despite its size it actually is very useable and useful!

Guys, I use the photobucket app and add pics no problem. Here's a pic of the app I'm using, 2nd row far right



Here's a pic of the app screen. To upload a photo you click the + on the lower right and follow to your photo (the photo I used as an example was actually the photo I took of my screen, sorry if it's confusing)


Then when it uploads in a few seconds, click the picture and press the little "i" button.


When this screen come up, you hit the img link and it will copy it, then just paste it into tapatalk


It's super easy to upload pictures this way. Sorry that this mucked up the thread, i'm just trying to be a blessing [emoji2]. Back to the topic! (Someone can move this post if necessary?)
 
I have a bunch! I will have to get a nice pic tonight and put it up here.
