Hi, I am trying to find a nice throwing knife that I could also use as a utility knife. Something that is comfortable to hold but is also well balanced for throwing. It would be nice if it was high quality steel and made in the US, perhaps made by a good reliable hand. I was thinking of the new Cold Steel True Flight Thrower, but am not sure. Money is not to much of an issue for me. Any suggestions?

The CS True Flight is supposed to be quite good for a all around thrower/user knife f22, the sheath is not very good though.

If money is not an issue you should get a custom knife built because the quality will be higher and they will last longer than anything mass produced. The best I know of are by Bobby Branton or Tru-Bal.

The Cold Steel Thrower is not that great a thrower, and it is a poor utility knife. Too soft to hold an edge, IMO. Another option is to get a good utility knife that can be used as a thrower.
