I`m thinking of making an EDC sized (6 1/2" oal, 3" blade, 1" tall and either 3/32" or 1/8" thick) Kephart. What are your thoughts?
 
The Kephart offers a lot of utility and I love the Baby Kephart so I would guess the design works across a range of sizes. It might be a good way to carry a bit of the outdoors in your pocket everyday!
 
For me that niche is already filled by the RWC but maybe if I saw one I'd change my mind.
 
That would be nice in 3/32". Maybe even slightly under 1" tall, like 7/8".

Isn't under 3" the legal limit for fixed blade carry in a lot of areas? Why not make the blade 2 7/8" x 7/8" and call it the Kephart MLC (Maximum Legal Carry)?

I ground out one today, with a 3" x 7/8" x 3/32" blade, and will heat treat it tomorrow with the others. I`ll have it on hand when you guys show up on the 25th for opinions.
 
Looking forward to seeing it. I still think Rockywolf's choice is one of the best EDC choices you've done. I think I'm the only one who has them???? My son carries his daily!!

If outdoorsfan or kyturkey brings his full size on the 25th I can do that. I have a Baby on hand, and the EDC will be ready by then.

I was going to bring the Baby Kep, Tin Knife and the full size Kephart along with some other
fun stuff for show and tell. The myright passaround will also be there and will be going home
with mqqn afterward.
 
I plan on bringing all my JK's and will try and get my friends walnut Ky Woodsman to show off also.
