This one is for the traditionalists.

3/32" "thin" 1095 - full convex grind
5.25" blade with "more belly"
4.25" handle of cocobolo, brass corby pins and 3/8" brass lanyard tube

Here's a spine shot to show the thinner blade and thicker handle.

The Point Of Balance is just barely in front of the first pin. In other words, right on the forefinger!

I really like how this turned out. I think I'm going to do a bunch more of these!!!

This one was just a "test"....more to come for sure!

This one is a steal at just $115

OK.......
I am answering your PM now...... I just realized this was the same knife I was "runner up" on ..........:D
Thank's ............

Forgot to mention an important feature on this one...

The spine is rounded where the handle meets the blade (where your thumb might rest) and then "not rounded" in the "dip" - for striking a firesteel - until the hump, where it's rounded again in-case you need to rest your hand there too (draw-knife cuts, ulu-type cuts)...then finally it is "not rounded" at the tip to help in digging/drilling.

Make sense?

Just glued-up two more this morning.

Pretty sure I'll be finished with them this afternoon.

teacher - you get first dibs. :D

Nice score teacher. That wood looks really nice.
Thank's Halfneck ...
Actually, I am not getting the one above... there was a dual listing on this one and I was a few minutes behind the 1st guy.

I'll get one of the one's he is finishing up..... I have every confidence they will be just as "beautimus"... :D
[i hope ...;)..]
Have a good one man...... :)
