What does the term "nested Liner lock" mean, and how does this differ from the non-nested liner lock. I performed a search, turned up nothing.

Thanks guys

Brian

Brian, have you been reading Blade while watching the Animal Channel?

Actually I dont know.

Brian,
I think it's what I call an inlayed lock, where you mill out a pocket for the lock. Like a titanium lock in a carbon fiber handle.

My guess would be with Kit. On a folder with full damascus hanldes you can mill out the inside of the handle to accept a titanium strip or tab that acts as your side lock.

thanks guys, i guess that i have seen folders with nested liners before, i just didnt know that is what they were called.

Kit, i hope to see your folder tutorial online soon.

Bruce, i dont get animal planet in my room, dissapointing since i love that crocodile hunter show.
