Knifemaker Joe Maddox designed a special knife for those with use of one hand. The arc shape blade permits easy rocking cuts and penetrating cuts with the two blade tips. This blade/handle design makes use of downward pressure directly over the cutting edge to be an effective food cutting tool, and eliminates the "chasing the steak around the plate" syndrome when using a standard knife.

Specs - cutting edge length 2 1/4", blade length 1 7/8", 440C steel, and stabilized hardwood handle scales.

The FB10 Maddox comes with a specially designed Kydex sheath that has a metal base - for easy and effortless one-hand insertion into the sheath. There is also a thumb break on the Kydex to permit easy unsheathing.

It looks like an ulu with a vertical handle. I wonder if the blade couldn't have been wider?

I wonder how well it works in hammer grip.

Also, I cannot help but immagine it with all three sides sharpened as an MBC product.
