the buck slip joints have always been special to me. my grandfather carried a buck stockman and its one of the first knives i remember being mesmerized by :D. i bought a 301 awhile back and like it quite a bit. but its big. and there are situations where i wanted something smaller.

i was dragged to the mall today and had a few minutes to duck into the knife store :D in the back of my mind i had been wanting to get a smaller slip joint. i ask the guy behind the counter if they had any sub 2.5" bladed traditionals. he showed me a few cases (very nice) but were a bit more money than what i felt like spending. looking at the bucks the little 305 stands out. its tiny, but capable as an urban EDC. i lucked out and bought the display model at a slight discount :D

Hey gundude, thanx for the pics. I've been working my way through the
300 series and I think that one is next ony list:)

Looks like a good one to me, I really enjoy the 300 series myself.
The 303 is a capable little knife, I would never feel unprepared with one in my pocket, too useful to forget.
It's hard to beat those Black Buck slippies.
