I decided a couple weeks ago to just go new. I ended up buying a new Canon camera. More bells and whistles than an old fart like me knows what to do with. My frustration level peeked last week and feel now like I made the best choice as far as the camera goes except it will take me awhile to get it totally figured out if ever. Anyway here's a bowie I made a couple weeks ago and an order I just finished up. The bowie has an 11" 1084 blade, iron fittings, and a dyed axis crown stag handle. The deer shin bone skinner has a 5" blade of either 5160 or 9260.

Nice, Ray! Love that big blade - you really took the temper line high on that one!

And with the new camera, now we'll expect more pics, of course! :D

Hey Raymond look like you got it right, the real test will be anything that has polish or a true mirror polish. The background selection is perfect for the knives you have featured. I have been playing with my light box a bunch lately I have found out how well mirrors work to knock out shadows etc.

Anyways great stuff thanks for sharing

Really good looking knives and pictures, Congrats. I only wish I could do 1/2 as well on the pictures.

I absolutely love the bone handles like that. How stable and strong are they? Can you give them some sort of synthetic treatment to make them even stronger?
