I just bought a Vesuvius and, when I went to move the clip from the "tip-up" position to my preferred "tip-down" position, the screws were too long and interfered with the action of the blade pivot. Since the scale has the holes already drilled in it just above the pivot, I assume that Spyderco intends that the clip be moveable to that position, even though you must have the pivot suitably adjusted first, as the clip then blocks the pivot screw. Would it be possible to obtain screws that are not quite so long? I am not comfortable with "tip-up" as I have had too many blades come open in my pocket. At the moment, I have the pivot adjusted very tightly on my Vesuvius as a security precaution.
