Hey! I just got my D2 para a few days ago and now my STR low rider clip came in! The bead blasted look is awesome and I love how it's barely visible once clipped to my pocket!!! Thanks Steve!

Actually it was made blind so I didn't have the folder here to do it. Looks like I hit the fold over point near perfect but the clip is off some for how it sits so you really need to lift up the end that slides over the rim of your pocket and gently force that more toward the center to get it away from the edge some. Normally if I have the folder here I do that before it leaves but when some of the customers don't want to mail the knife this is one of the pitfalls of not having it in hand when I don't own one of the models myself.

Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it considering I was doing it blind.

Thanks for the pics

Thanks for the tip about gently lifting up the clip and forcing it away from the edge. My thumb is really sore now but the clip is about 2-3mm lower. How much farther do you think I can bend it down? Closing the compression lock on the para is starting to make my thumb sore. Forcing the clip away from the edge is not helping any. :p

Typically they sit just a bit off center but this is just the nature of how it has to come out. Just take it more toward the middle but not far enough to interfere with the screw placement to prevent you getting a driver down on the head and not so far over that its not allowing you to remove the screw. Its OK to be slightly off looking for how it sits between the screws. Some are made that way anyways so don't go by that necessarily.

If you want to wait until your thumb feels better thats fine too.

No hurry. It will work where it sits till your thumb heals.
