How many people would be interested in a forum specifically for SAKs and multi-tools? I would like to see one and it might be a good way to attract more people to the site. Also, I'll have to confess to a fascination with both of them - and Spydercos and Chris Reeve and....

I don't know how much traffic it would get. I subscribe to an SAK group and we haven't had any discussions since January.

There always seem to be a few threads about multi-tools going on around here. I would be interested in seeing how a separate area would work. Pocket tools are one of my major interests, so I would probably be active there.

I'm also very interested in multitools/SAKs and would like to see a forum for this topic. It might not have much traffic initially, but it would provide a clear starting point for new folks to ask questions. Maybe we could get the forum cross-linked from some other gear and equipment sites as a way to generate posts.

Count me in too. Someone also suggested a separate area for discussing watches as well. I know about TZ and WUS and all the other watch forums, but as has been noted - their format leaves something to be desired, and most of the folks who frequent those forums most often discuss higher-end watches. It would be nice to discuss G-Shocks, Timex, Luminox and other "moderately" priced watches.

How about two new forums: SAK/Multi-tools and Watches?

Spark recently opened the Traditional forum which covers slipjoints and there has been some SAK talk there.Multitools are their own thing though - Gadgets and Gear or General?
