I made a smaller version of this a year ago, but that one's gone. I figured let me give it another try. The Kris facinates me and is a major pain in the ass to grind. Let me know what you think, it's BG42 steel. Thanks.....RDT

A great design with great steel, how can it lose? Very good looking blade coming outta that. Looks like it would be a major pain in the butt to sharpen it though.

Thanks Don !, and you ain't kiddin when you say it's a pain in the ass to sharpen, doing the initial edge was very difficult but sharpening is only slightly less difficult then that. Trying to grind the waves in either hollow or flat grinds is the real pain ! Take cae.....RDT

Hi All,
Thanks so much for the positive response. DT, I still have'nt gotten my grinder yet, probably by March I'll have a KMG, hopefully with a variable speed. Right now I'm using hand files and a multitool attachment. If I still had my Grizzly even, I would be able to make em' faster ad more accurately.....just one more month til the new grinder !, I can hardly wait. Take care.....RDT

Yea I hear you Brother I am still grinding on a 1x42 grinder and a cheap home assembled 2x48. Im hoping to have the cash by March also so I can get a grinder at the Badger Knife Show. Hopefully I will have some tactical blades ready and get some pics soon.
