Hey folks. I recently purchased a BM 770 and a Buck/Mayo TNT. They were my first two knife purchases in about 10 years. I am somewhat of a noob when it comes to knives and I bought both before finding the forum. I did not really do my homework like I should have, but I've been having a good time reading tons of old posts now.

Well anyways just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone.

Well that's good to hear. The BM came yesterday and seems pretty nice so far. The Buck/Mayo TNT is in the mail. I'm looking forward to getting it to check it out.
 
Welcome to Bladeforums jwade! Like cut finger said, you made some great choices for a newbie, I think you'll fit in here quite well. I just got a Buck Mayo today, I have a little review up here if you'd like to check it out. Hopefully yours got a little more attention from the QC department than mine, but I have no doubt Buck will make it right for me. I'll be sure to post updates. And once again, welcome!
 
Hey Kurt. That pass-around idea seems pretty cool. I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone else has to say about the knife after they get to handle it.

jwade, pass-arounds are very cool. The only thing that's kept me from signing up for and running more is that I'm broke. I've had a ball with every other one I've done, most courtesy of DaveH. He's the man :) .
