Just got me another Kershaw(this forum is gonna cause me to go broke..LOL)
Got a good deal on a Spec-Bump in S30V. I love this new knife. Gonna put to BM710 away now. Saw another thread that someone said their Speed-Safe is not very fast on their Bump -
Well mine wasnt either till I doused it WD and motor oil (yep) from a squirt can. Got plenty down in the pivot and now thing thing flings open like a rocket

Sounds like you scored good!
BTW how much did you pay for it and where? The cheapest I've found was like at CTD...

The Spec Bump has had an above $100 street price from the beginning...that price was just too good a deal to pass up for me, also! :D

I even found (and grabbed) one of the original-release Spec Bumps (CPM 154 DLC blade instead of S30V, diagonally-machined G10 scales instead of the spider-web pattern, and non-terraced studs) NIB for just a couple of dollars more from another seller. ;)

FYI I don't think we're really supposed to post purchase specifics because it can be considered deal spotting which is against forum rules...

Ray :)

I may have to buy another Spec Bump at those prices; sold mine a while ago

Had a love hate relationship with that knife

A bit fat & heavy for EDC, wish it was a slimmer profile
But what a beautiful and incredibly well made knife

Enjoy it, scarysharp
