New Knife ordered

Ordered an Issoire Shepherd's knife with a bone handle from Gilles at Fontenille Pataud! Can't wait. He makes nice knives. I find the marlin spike very handy around the house. I also ordered several free samples of blade protectant thanks to the thread here on BF. By the way, what are your thoughts on Flitz?

It's an excellent polish that works on all sorts of surfaces. It's been recommended to me by knife makers and music store owners. You only need to use a tiny bit. I don't use it as a protectant. I follow up with oil or Ren. wax. What do use a marlin spike around the house for?
