Uncle Bill,
The rural mail carrier just delivered a nice, big box from HI to my door. ChairWoman of the Board brought it in the house & said,"Come Monday, you are going back to work. Youare having too much fun being off." Got that box open & as usual, was not disappointted. The Ganga Ram is exactly as you said & it is great.....balance is excellent, blade shape & bevels are their usual great. I have been thinking that maybe I'd look into a 20" Sirupati. The Military's are sorta 'piling up.' Pulling that Military out of the box with the Ganga Ram, I thought well maybe this time I'll send it back & trade for a 20" Sirupati. That thought disappearred quick as I unsheathed that jewel......fit & finish, angles & curves are just what I learned to expect years ago. These two are as close to perfect as I think anybody is ever going to see; what a pair. The chakmas are hard!
Both small knives are well made, & hardened really well, but the one on the Ganga..........the kami was really paying attention. The little feller feels comfortable in my hand & the blade bevels are exactly on the money. The butt caps have no sharp edges. Damn, I am just impressed. Many thanks to you & the kamis & the "packing lady." Yangdu doesn't fool around when she packs, does she?
Overtime may start back in two weeks....hee, hee, hee. Will be in touch. Thanks,DKP
