Hello guys. Ive bee enjoying reading the posts on the forum so far and learning a lot. I have been a long time Spyderco fan but just purchased my first Zero Tolerance (0550). Sadly, I have to say it has not been a good experience. Owned the knife for two days and what do I get, Lock Rock. From all I have read about ZT quality I am giving them a chance to redeem themselves and I am sending it in for warranty repair or replacement. I own one other titanium frame lock, a custom Jim Allen Three Sisters Forge Beast and I like the form factor. It's hard to beat the Spyderco for ease of opening and closing so maybe I am a little spoiled in that regard. I hope the knife comes back in better shape. Anyone with similar experiences?

Welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about your ZT. It happens. Keep in mind that even Spyderco has a warranty department ;-) I'm sure Kershaw will make it right. I'm waiting on my Knockout to be returned as we speak.

I've had nothing but good experiences with their CS. My 0550 is supposed to show up Saturday, so I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone is gushing about, and perhaps even falling in love all over again. Welcome. This place is awesome. I'm new also, and the people here have caused much money to magically fall out of my wallet and into the hands of knife retailers... My knife drawer if more full though, so that's cool.

Cheers!

I've never had any problems with my ZT's that I've owned but from what I've read their warranty service should make everything good for ya.

Forgive my ignorance. I'm an Axis lock guy. But I've been looking at Ti Liner Locks.

What is Lock Rock?
