What is the advantage of Talonite over other steels? Also, is the carbon fiber handle available on the D2 version and is it available with a black blade?

Is the Carnivore available with D2 steel?
So far I only see Sifu in D2, and it's a bit too big for me.
If it is available, who stocks it?

Thx.

I'm not sure if D-2E steel has made it to the Carnivore just yet. I seem to remember Bob Brothers listing the order in which the models were suppose to get D-2E. I do know that it is suppose to be available on all the models, eventually. I hope Christina or Bob answers that question, since I'm interested myself.
Talonite is a Cobalt Alloy related to Stellite, if you do a search over on the general forum there is more infomation than I can give you. The one thing that I know for sure is a Talonite or Stellite blade will never rust! Can't happen ever, no steel is in either material to rust.

Folks,

Have a D-2 Carnivore. It is fine! :-) Do any of you have a lefty D-2 Carnivore with a plain edge that you'd being willing to part with?

The Carnivore is available in D2 Enhanced with black G-10 handles. If anyone reading this is interested in buying one, please contact me. I am a small dealer that buys through one of Rekat's few distributors.
Alan: Thanks for the tip!
