The knife looks great and so does the artwork in the background. I do think that the artwork takes your eye away from the knife though.

Yeah, the backgrounds are pretty busy. Really I just posted these pics to see if there are any other Giger fans on the forums. Besides, most of my pictures use the same background, and I thought that this would break up the monotany.

*jumps up and down waving his hand in the air* Me! Me! I'm a Giger fan! ;) (too much sugar in my coffee this morning...)

Nice looking knife... wicked. :)
Cool back-ground too... altho it does kinda pull the eye from the knife, I still think it looks good.

(sorta reminds me of some of the stuff I've done to get shots of my knives... except I was doing it with my scanner. Anyone read Heavy Metal?(the "Adult Illustrated Fantasy Magazine"[comics for big kids ;)])... Used a couple covers from some issues I have as back-grounds for scans before... some of them look better to my eye than the regular bland beige back-ground one normally gets with a scanner.)

Anyway...
Really good looking work... and cool background.:)

I read Heavy Metal whenever I can find it.But, I live in the sticks so that isn't very often.I just so happen to have a pic taken on a background by Simon Bisley. He has been in Heavy Metal more than any other artist I know of.If you like Heavy Metal you should check out Mr. Bisley's graphic novel "Melting Pot".It is exceptional.
