Just finished up the first prototype of one of my new "Ness-Mac" models. This one got it's name from my buddy Daniel Fairly, thanks Dan!!
This is the Bowie Ness-Mac, one of two new designs that are my interpretation of a Nessmuk style blade. Not to be confused with a true Nessmuk
This one is ground from .180" D2 tool steel heat treated to 60-61RC, flat ground with a swedge, satin bevels and mill scale flats. Handle is lightning strike carbon fiber with a thick toxic green G-10 liner. Still needs sharpening and some sheath work.
Thanks for looking! I think I'll be making some more of these. Have a couple of each design ground out and heat treated, so more to come. Hope you all like 'em.
