I just saw a new movie trailer called My Bloody Valentine in 3-D. It shows a guy with a miners hat on and dark glasses unleashing havoc with tomahawks

I know the TOMAHAWKS were the main subject but reading "mining helmet" brought back a flood of memories!

I know this is already a little off topic, but I used to be engaged to a hearing impaired / mute lady. She could read lips and speak great but couldn't hear at all.

She adapted to most things in life, and this worked out well most of the time. However, at night in bed, with the lights out, she had to wear a mining helmet when we made love so she could read my lips.

That was a little disconcerting...

It's a take-off of the 1981 film.

The original was scary as a kid. I remember it.
