Hey all,
A few weeks ago I posted my BK7 that I etched and put a light patina on. I am waiting on my new scales for it so I put on the stock ones for now. The new scales will match the color of the sheath better than the black ones. I made a simple hanging belt sheath for it. It's made from 8/9oz double shoulder leather, Fiebings Light Brown dye, waterproofed and conditioned with Montana Pitch Blend dressing and stitched with artificial sinew. I used a stainless D-ring and gun metal snaps. The D-ring gives the sheath free motion while moving about and if bending or going over something it wont bind or pinch. The blade fits like a glove and is nice and secure. Hope you all like it, I will post more pics when the scales arrive.
