New Posts Icon

There is an icon on the pages showing a list of forums that looks like a lightbulb that is supposed to be lit when there are new posts in that forum and unlit when there have been no new posts since the last visit. Well, in my case the light bulbs are all always lit. I also read the "other" forum on knives and the light bulb icons there work correctly to indicate new posts. Is there a setting that I am missing in my preferences?

Are you entering through the front page of the site, or have you bookmarked the forums themselves?

Spark-

I knew you would come up with the answer! I was entering via a bookmark to the CRK Forum and then navigating from there. If I come in thru the front door all of the icons work correctly.
